yea i changed up the camber as far as it would go negative and for some reason it still rubbed idk why? i didnt look into i just put it back to where it was and it rubs a little less. ill mess with it later. once i get the right tires it will be stanced right. it will give it the nice stretch and more clearance. then again ima go lower haha

Wow, this thread is pretty intense, The Evo manifold doesnt bolt right up, it causes issues with the starter clearing the manifold since the g64 has the starter on the front instead of on the back like the g63. Youll need a spacer, theres even a guy on the 3g forum that relocated the starter to the rear.

IMO the wheels do look like they stick out a litte too much, but props for trying this size, i think the grids are sick. The g64 swap isnt too hard, the first time i did it i ran into several problems but once you figure it out, i bet it could be done again in a day or two. . I want to get a nice stance, maybe not this severe but something flush for sure.

lol i didnt do the swap **** that. the base lancers are a piece of **** and not worth to spend anymore money on. and the reason the wheels look hella bulky and ugly is because the tires are from my old rims and they are too fat. i need to get skinnier tires to stretch them more and get more poke. so thats why it looks ugly. im not gonna be spending anymore money mod wise on this car. its not worth it. other than oil changes tires and such. thats it. this car is a garbage hand me down car that i just ****ed with for a long time to gain experience with everything. i could care less what happens to it otherwise. the mileage is at 145,000 and the timing belt hasnt been changed once. lmao. to give you an idea. haha. but that was before it was mine.. my Z is my real car and it is flawless.

touche..

my lancer is my only car and ill keep having some fun, im barey getting started with it, the swap was my first mod and a way better starting point, im finally getting the tuning issues worked out and it was way worth it. It doesnt feel like its not worth antyhing anymore plus the g64 is excellent for boost, theres 3gs putting down 260whp on stock internals with no problems. Post some pics of your Z. is it Hellaflush? Do you not drive it? i noticed u said u drive ur lancer everywhere and needed it to get to school.

I think those tires look 100x better than some of those tires on stancenation.com

Meaty tires look good on a wide wheel. 90% of the tires on that website look undrivable on an actual road. Not very practical if you ask me. How many blown tires and bent wheels do those guys go through in a year i wonder?

And why are you bashing the Lancer? Its a perfect car for a daily driver and that sounds like all you use it for so whats the problem with it? Does it not get you from A to B?

The z is a weekend car lol, and yea I mean it's okay it is my daily driver but it's so powerless.. I don't have time to do the swap to much of a headache and I don't want to spend anymore money that's all.. I haven't herd of a blown tire or any bent rims yet . They are perfectly driveable you just got to check the air pressure more often. This one guy did mess up his downpipe up on his sti because his car was so low. Could t get out of the way and ran over a cinderblock on the freeway. And I need skinner tires because my sidewalk is too big and when I get a skinner tire and smaller sidewalk it will allow me to go even lower! And the tire won't rub when I turn my wheel as much.
