That's not flush or hellaflush. That's "bulging" or "extruding" or "ridiculous."

Do you plan on getting some fender flares? I think there are universal kits available that you could customize to fit.

Well it's pretty popular in the Miata community and I was considering doing it to my car.

hi im the friend lol, one thing to just remind everyone, is that there is no rule book into how you are allowed to mod your car. shoot, people told me that i was crazy for blue wheels on my mercedes, and now it has been a while and people are liking the uniqueness.

the point im trying to get across is that people have there own taste, you dont want someone telling you how to mod your car! if we werent able to have our own tastes in mods, im pretty sure all of our car would look the same. with that in mind onkar is just trying to share his passion of his car on this forum and trying to show people that it is possible to fit 16x8 with a +10 offset which is just crazy

congrats onkar on some sick wheels i cant wait till we put on those coilovers and then work on ur fenders and give that widebody look to the car

Yes I concur, however there is a drastic difference in unique tastes and just plain butchering a car. I just don't see the logic in tearing up your car. Hopefully when he fixes it all it will look good until then you have to expect comments like this. Post up updated pics when its all said and done!

There are no rules to modding, but there are also no rules to what people say online. Im not knocking your stuff at all. I dig the hellflushness, I roll with a fair amount of VW guys (my g/f drives a 02 gti w/ k04 in it slammed fairly hard) and the perfect stance is sick. Just expect the hate, if I was you I'd be happy with the hate. Hate usually means your doing something different, and your worth talking about. It will either turn out sick and you will have opened up a new look in the end, or, you will be hated on and laughed off evom, but probably not. I cant wait to see the end result.

I don't think anyone is "hatin" because he's doing something different because he's not, VW guys have been doing this for decades and he's only running an 8" wheel, hardly reinventing the wheel. Some of us just think that at the moment, it looks weird because it's unfinished.

That's what I said as well, vdubbers have been doing it for a while but its not a common mitsu thing as far as I've seen. I think it could be cool to see, yes I think hes doing a ghetto job and there are plenty of things I dont like as well, but Im just trying to give him some encouragement. I think it could look good once hes done.

It is ghetto right now, i had no choice i had to ghetto roll the fenders so i could drive my car to school without it taking chunks out. I commute 30 miles to school. Its i. The process of being fixed, just waiting for the coilovers to arrive, and the nares blue paint, i am also doing some body work to thw fenders as well. Still need to go to fatlace in san fran as well, Its gonna take a couple weeks to complete but once ita finished all the imperpections will be gone, i wouldnt have posted any pics till it was done but slatermvp wanted to see what they looked like so i saod what the hell. I will bring thia thread back to life when i post the finished product.
