Humble 2002 lancer OZ

Here is my lancer, this is my very first ever car, got it as a gift, I did all the work by myself (except alignment and tire change) and have kept it well maintained, I'm self taught (the how-tos have helped a lot). I don't have many mods and I don't plan on going crazy (no turbo or motor swap), but I have enough mods to make the car fun on canyon roads and autocross.
Here is my mod list, organized by time of installation (oldest to newest):
- ebay Cold air intake (yes I know how unoriginal)
- energy suspension front anti sway bar end links (this is where the fun begins)
- progress rear anti sway-bar with autocross brackets
- Speedcorps Underhood shifter metal bushings
- ebay short shifter kit with base bushings
- red line synthetic transmission oil (I don't know if that counts as a mod)
- ported 4G93 intake manifold ( best sound, eargasm )
- LED dome bulb
- Blacked out grill
- lightened trunk cargo area (no more carpet)
- ss brake lines
- ebay 4-2-1 header
- Blacked out headlights
- Plasti dipped rims
- Megan coilovers
The only future mods that I plan on getting is a header, some springs or coilovers and a TUNE and then that is IT! (EDIT:already have the coilovers and the header.
Oh and I forgot to mention that I went autocrossing, and I didn't expect that much oversteer!! not kidding, at every chicane (slalom) the back was coming out. I improved my time by 20 seconds, at my final runs I was 1 second behind a wrx and 0,01 seconds behind an evo X he was a noob driver and had a passenger but that still counts.
EDIT: pics of the car lowered go to page 5
Now here are the pictures:

Nice. Pick up some rims and definitely go with coilovers. A tune will be the best n/a mod for your motor, possibly get some better mpg too. Lancer can actually have some good suspension, if you go with coilovers i suggest a front/rear strut too. Lol and please get a shorty antenna

Don't want to spend 600$+ for good rims, rather save my money for good tires, shorty antenna lol I like my long *** antenna, I look like a big RC car

Don't want a rear strut bar the rear is already quite stiff, I already get a lot of oversteer.

lol, I just returned them they were defective right out of the box, so to answer you're question I got the cheapest ones on ebay.

the car looks good! i wish i would of driven down to SD last time i was down there, cause i really want to race at qualcomm. two thing to look into that might help with autocross is installing a evo steering rack and upgrading your front calipers to twin piston calipers. your car will handle so much better.

Thank you, autocross was SUPER fun, and yes I thought of a evo steering rack, because I'm tired of turning the wheel around three times each time I catch a slide, and for brakes I will be installing stainless steel brake lines that will help.

Good to see more people getting into autocross. I'll be down at Qualcomm next month for the San Diego National Tour. Maybe I'll see you there.

if you search Lancer 5-lug & Rear Disc Conversion Part List they have some cool brake upgrades on there. i know what you mean about the steering and i can really say that upgrading the steering rack would really help. from straight forward to lock its only one full turn deff a makes it alot easier to drive. it wasnt to hard to do
i have the same mods you do and after i got a tune i was pushing 110hp so you should be around the same
