Humble 2002 lancer OZ
@SilentCool Thanks, I'm pretty much done modding, I don't want to waist my money on power mods on a car that will never be powerful. So I'm thinking about picking up a project car like a e30 or maybe a miata (eitherway something cheap and rwd)
Damn! You're getting rid of the Lancer? Anyway man, as long as you had fun with it. I'm just beginning my build and as easy as it seems to get info on the forum I'm still unsure as to weather I should go with coilovers. A few pages earlier you mentioned that your ride was harsh. I'm assuming that's on the street. Have you tried adjusting the damping rate to a softer setting? You see....that's my issue, I'm not going to be on the strip with my car but I would like to have the option of raising and lowering at my convenience. With lowering springs I wouldn't have that option.Care to share some knowledge?

Coilovers are great for adjustability assuming you get the right ones (with threaded shock bodies) but as for any suspension mod they will make the ride a little more harsh than stock even adjusted to the softest damping setting because coilovers usually come with spring rates that are higher then stock.
