As long as you brought it back to the same number of threads it had before you lowered it, it wouldn't mess with your alignment unless you had bad ball-joints or bushings. But either way yea a picture of how it sits would be great and also about how much more room you have to lower on your coil-overs, either thread count or apx. measurement in mm or standard would be great, but not necessary since it involves you getting under your car.

I really appreciate it, I've spend hours tying to look at how much the Megan set up lowers but I could not find this information even messaging Megan Racing. Thanks

Here are some quick pics of how the car sits and how much there is left on the coilovers. I will give you a mm measurement tomorrow I just forgot and couldn't find my tape measure.

Yes and you can lower it even more by getting lower profile tires (it would be already ridiculously low if you max out the coils).

Nice, and you don't happen to know what the actual max height drop is from oem do you?

Pretty damn low. I calculated that If I were to lower it to the max, my subframe (lowest point where the control arm meets the subframe) would be approx 5cm from the ground. The oil pan and exhaust would be dragging by that point.

That's fantastic. I've been worried i was going to spend all this money and maybe get 3 inches of lowering. But now I'm for sure going to get them. Thanks again for all of your help. Your car looks great.

i was going over the older pages of the thread and i had a question. i saw that you had the energy suspension front anti sway bar end links ... how do you like those ? do they make a difference ?

i was thinking about getting some when i had my oz, and then it got stolen so i was pretty much F'ed.

Love the lowered stance. I cannot wait to get my D2's installed even more now. I just hope I do not continuously bottom out.

Yeah, those energy suspension sway bar links are nice, cheap, and make a noticeable difference (not huge), the handling feels more neutral (no huge understeering), and the front feels a little tighter. But the biggest handling difference I have experienced was when I installed the the rear sway bar (and the coilovers of course).
Sucks that your oz got stollen

Thanks for the compliment!
I'm not sure if the D2's have it but you can't bottom out the coilovers as long as the shock is threaded (so instead of lowering the spring your'e actually shortening the hole coilover).
Or if you mean actually bottoming out the car then, just raise the coilovers! (unless scrapping oilpans is your style).

Oh yea, i love scrapping oilpans. hearing that loud metal on concrete scrapping noise makes my day.

Me and a friend are going to lower it as much as possible one day for fun in his driveway just to snap a few photos then we'll raise it back up. I am quiet happy with the height of the car now with the D2's installed.
