@gurtleturtle
- I won't be putting the eve 7 bumper on until june 7'th because I have to take 8, 4 hour tests up In L.A in order to graduate.
- You can bottom out the car with these coilovers with low profile tires.
@OZR_Lancer
Thanks for the offer I will come after june 7th but before MOD FOO SHO!

Ok my computer decided to be a little ***** so I uploaded the raw video from my phone, and I won't have time edit it until june 7th. just skip to 3:20 for run number one and skip to 10:00 minute mark for run number two. These are not my best runs but these are the only ones on video. I think my best run was 63 ish don't remember and I lost the post its somehow.
I think I was running the same times as a scooby and an ITR and faster than a mini cooper s and a 90s golf gti on racing compound {thumb up}. I could of gone much faster if I had better tires (I'm still running all seasons
) and if I had a bit more time to fiddle with the coilovers settings, but hey none the less I did pretty damn good for somebody that has only autocrossed once and with a 10 year old econobox (on semi-good all seasons
)

PS:Oh and one more thing if you want to see oversteer action go to 10:53 mark
PPS: Sorry for the wind noise it was way to hot to close the windows.

Have you played around with your coilovers to see if it will handle better. I see that your megan coils have hight adjustment on the bottom(the single ring) and spring rate adjustment(the rings below the spring). Try to lower the lower ring and rase the spring rate rings. It may raise your ride hight but give you stiffer spring compression.
People like you is why I lose 5 lbs at Autocross events... Got me running back and forth trying to pick up cones HAHAHA. Always good to see a fellow Lancer attackin' corners =D
@Incrphish, dang... 45psi is a lot imo. What are the dimensions of the tires you're running?

@Incrphish My tire preussure was 40 all over, I just wanted to factor out tire pressure to test out the coilovers, and yeah they don't have any preload for now, I Think I'm going to put 5 mm of preload and compensate with the lower ring like that the car stays at the same ride height. But I still have to figure out the the strut harshness settings, I think I set them at 8 up front and at 6 in the rear, It felt good but not perfect, what do you use for strut stiffness?
@Midnightkid
Yeah those were not my cleanest runs, I wasn't the worst, when I was picking up the cones one guy decided to hit the same cone every time -_-
Yeah I think more people should take their lancers autocross instead of saying "it's so slow"

Yeah the best way to factor out understeer is to get supersticky front tires and stiffen up the rear suspension, I get a lot of understeer when my front tires are hot, otherwise the car is very balanced.
