The company that makes it is a sub company of AIT racing if I remember right. But my buddy had it on his car for like two years out here in the Florida sun and it just recently started to fade in two spots. Its actually at his buddies body shop getting completely recleared before I pick it up next week. But it hasn't faded at all, as long as you keep em waxed and waxed properly you should be ok.

And nope, no pearl, its the stock, old, faded, scratched and dinged up paint. LOL. The car really needs quite a bit of dents fixed and repainted, but other stuff is going to happen before I get that done.

And thanks, the zip-tie thing is something alot of drifters do to fix their broken bumpers and such.

For the door panels I just painted them. I had my back seat reupholstered and brand new carpet installed. For painting sutff I just went to Advance Auto and bought flat black vinyl interior paint. Then I gave stuff a very very light sand with 1000 grit, and then cleaned everything with degreaser, and then painted the parts following the directions on the can.

In other news, I'm going to pick up my new hood tonight. Expect new pictures tonight or tommorow.

What is this we have here?!?!

I need to do a little shaving on my grill for it to fit, so that will get done and installed tommorow. Now the hood got cleared yesterday, so it needs to sit for a few weeks as is, and then I need to wetsand and then buff the hood up nice and good like. I must say this hood is soooooooo light compared to the stock one.

I got it from some guy on craigslist for 100$. But I know RRM sells it, Andysautosport sells it, and all the other bodykit sites have it for like 500-600 depending where you look.

Daaaamnn, real nice! Inspiration for my lancer for sure!
Question: when you went wingless what did you use to cover up the holes in your trunk? Thanks.

Glad my car can be your inspiration!

And I just got some 2''x2'' squares of white vinyl from my sponsor/vinyl guy and just covered the holes with that. Eventually I'll get a different trunk.
