Yup I looked on amazon and bought a 2002/04 vortex. And dang that stinks. Yeah you def. should have bout the correct year lol .

Just ordered carbon fiber vynl for my hood.

 

What did you do that you need to order a new one???

What your supposed to do is open your trunk and peel up the rubber that is inbetween the metal. Then put the vortex down and ur good.
But what I did was wiggle one side or the vortex hooks under rubber. Then the other side wouldn't fit cause I was doing it wrong so I had sawed the hooks off on that side . And now the vortex sits perfect one one side but the other side is lifted up a little bit causes the corners don't math cause it can't hook to the other side .

^youll understand once you buy it. And too bad I didn't find the video on how to put it on our cars before I sawed it off.

The vynl only cost me 30.00 for a 59 by 60 inch sheet . I know it fits cause I measured my hood so I'm not worried .

As for other threads u would just have to go through and dig into the archives of others. They are pretty awesome. Gives u ideas and what not. Its pretty awesome.

DUDE OMG I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! I did the sameee thing. Lol. It lines up perfectly on the left side and its up just the littlest bit on the other. But i dont care right now.
