Sorry to hear that you're selling. The car looks great the way it sits now. I wish we can somehow get more people to keep this generation on the road....like the mirage. You said you're selling for insurance reasons but I'm not sure I understand (not that you have to exolain). What do you plan to get when sold?

 

Got them for a steal. 600, the tires themselves were 550 new, she had them for 1000 miles. Sooo, basically 15$ a wheel then new Neo Gen Tires.

My insurance is very high, and hard for me and my mom to pay. So If i sell it id be carless for a while. It probably will not happen now though, I worked things out and I plan to get a second job over the summer and possibly get onto my own insurance. If i do sell, I will come back with an Evo 8 or a newer ralliart for the boost/AWD and pay monthly for it.

Big day Saturday! But bad new too... I had a little tick in the engine guys. I think it was a lifter I can post something later about it. But anyway, I did an engine flush and oil change and put in some engine cleaner to drive on for 4000-5000 miles or so and it seemed to disappear? I drove around earlier and couldn't hear it so yay me!
I'm off to my friends house for some car parts saturday in NY! Can't tell you what but you sorta found my secret for sale post so idk what you can get from that...

And congrats on fixing your ticking, your fix was cheaper than mine... I had to put a whole new engine in it..

 

That was a perfect time to rebuild the engine

 

Yeah the noise is back but not as bad a ticking but sounds like its a throatier sound, and there shouldn't be up front...
