Thanks, I was glad too, trust me! And it sits right in front of the front driver-side wheel, right above the plastic guard under the engine bay (which I had to take off to install). I am almost certain that with that plastic guard being there, it will be just fine in terms of water issues. If you don't have the plastic guard on your Mirage, I would make an effort to get one before you invest in a cold air. If I didn't have the guard, I would be very nervous honestly.

Thanks for the info, hope you enjoy the new install. Once I purchase mine and install I'll let you know how it goes. What's next on your list of upgrades?

Sweet, good luck with yours man. And next upgrade will have to be either the Taillights or the Progress Rear Lower Sway Bar. Haven't decided yet :/ and it won't be until Christmas haha

Thanks man, appreciate the heads-up and compliments. So its been a while since I've been on because school has been taking me for a ride here recently, but I went ahead and got a mini photo-shoot in after I washed her the other day:

Do you mind providing a link to the CAI you picked? I'm looking to do this or a SRI but can't afford the $250 k&N kit :l

You have to either bondo it and repaint the trunk or find one of those rubber/plastic screws to fill in the hole.
