2003 Lancer Dome Light Too Dim

Does anyone have a solution for the stock dome light not being very bright?

The bulb is fine, and the wiring is fine, it just doesn't put out as much light as we would like.

I am thinking some type of LED? maybe a cluster? I want to see what the rest of you have done, so I am not spending $ on stuff that is no better than stock.....

so far... this would be the stock replacement de3175 @ 10W :

Have found:

31mm

I assume the one with 12 leds would be better than one with say 4 leds?

here is one with 24
Amazon.com: JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 31-EX Chipsets DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 1.25" LED Bulbs, Xenon White: Automotive Amazon.com: JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 31-EX Chipsets DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 1.25" LED Bulbs, Xenon White: Automotive

here is one with 4
Amazon.com: Cutequeen White 31mm(1.25") 5050 4-SMD 12V Festoon Dome Light LED Bulbs DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 3175(pack of 2): Automotive Amazon.com: Cutequeen White 31mm(1.25") 5050 4-SMD 12V Festoon Dome Light LED Bulbs DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 3175(pack of 2): Automotive

or something else all together? .... I want as much light as possible

The 31mm is better, I'm currently using it. I think the color I have is cool white (has a hint of blue), it's a huge improvement over the stock bulb. I'm considering Xenon white. Probably if I snap a pic that may help? I'm not sure.

well, I went ahead and ordered the 12 bulb versions, will see how they work....

2 of the for $2.99 shipped from a US seller...

I think there is just 1 bulb for the dome light correct? If so, I will use the other one in the trunk (it looks like it is the same size)
