fog light replacement

im trying to replace the fog lights but i cant seem to figure out how to get to the bulb. im pretty sure i have to take out the 3 screws on that metal casing behind the glass (?) but the screws seem to be stripped...

Yes, you have to take out the 3 screws in the metal case. They do strip easily, and the screws are VERY tight. If they're already stripped, you'll probably have to drill the heads off them and use vise-grips or pliers to unscrew the shaft that'll be left over. Find a decent hardware store that carries metric fasteners, and match up thread sizes with the pieces you removed.

Instead of drilling the head off the screw my suggestion would be to buy a stripped screw removing drill bit from a hardware store. I stripped the screw on the o2 sensor for my CAI and the drill bit removed it effortlessly.

yah... pay close attention to the retaining clip inside the fog light when you remove it. I had about a 20 min dumb moment when i was trying to put it back in.

Did you get hit in the face with it trying to put it in the wrong way? i swear to god it looked like it was saposed to go in backwards from what was right.

ha lol...i think ill give the drill bit method and if it doesnt work ill go with the vise grips...anyone know what the srew increments are if i need to replace them?
