idk i tried to make a short ram 2 different ways and neither worked for me...the first was i took my friends aem civic intake and cut it down to a reasonable size to be considered a short ram for my car and used a filter from pep boys. that set off the "too lean" code in reference to the air flow and all it did was cut off the mivec engine after 4-4500rmp. then i tried a hard plastic intake piece from pep boys with the same filter and it only did the same thing...soo now im back to stock

the easiest way to do a short ram very very extremely cheap for our RA, 4g69 2.4L, is cutting the stock maf tube from the air box, but if you want to put back the air box you cant, hehehe

Why, if you can buy a SRI kit made specifically for the RA, would you piece together a "DIY" kit? Not knocking it, I actually want to know why.
