Door ajar sound

Alright, I was wondering if there was anyway to get rid of the beeping sound when the key is on and the door is open...

You can disable either the door switch or the "key reminder" switch. The key switch would be better, because then your interior lights would still turn on when you opened your door if you wanted them to. I can't think of any ill effects of disabling the key switch.

You'd lose the convenient function of the lights turning on when you shut your car off and remove the key, without opening the door.

I'm sure you could locate the speaker and disconnect it.

I looked at the door switch and if I disconnected it I would never be able to find it again it would fall down the frame and I dont know how I would find it....Where is the Key switch?

I think the buzzer is built into the gauge cluster. It's either there, or in the ETACS ECU.

That's what the auto-off light feature is for. It's not possible to leave any light on our car on for more than 30 minutes unless it's running.

When you turn them back on after they auto-off, they'll stay on for 30 minutes. Same with the dome light.
