I have a friend that wants to install a stock catback for an evo 9 on his 06 lancer rallyart and basically doesnt know how to do it.

i was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to do it and if it is infact compatible with eachother.

i dont want for him to make the mistake of purchasing that catback from someone and then he cant use it. if anyone can help with this i will appreciate it. thanks.

1. doesnt fit
2. its too big, will lose alot of torque

depending on how he will mod the car, exhuast sizes
NA - 2.25"
FI - 2.5"+

there is plenty info already on these forums, just search, and fyi there is a whole "noob" thread dedicated to listing that evo parts are not compatible with lancer and RA... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=108090

not show, facts....

i had the evo exahust in my ex-ra and the only thing you need to change is the flange that mates to the downpipe...... IF you dont want the exhaust to rub the road re rout the inlet pipe of the evo muffler to the stock mid pipe....
