while we're on the subject, does b12 throttle body cleaner work on it? Or is there a certain cleaner?

It comes in an can that plainly says MAF cleaner on it. You can't mistake it.

Take your airbox out and hose it down with the cleaner and reinstall it. Can't be any easier. It evaporates real quick.

On the can I got it said it will add 4 HP. Sure you are right HAHA!!!

It should help with your problem though. Have you ever done it before?

Whatever you do don't try engine degreaser. It'll eat right through the MAS element. Sadly I know from experience.

what about cleaning the MAF sensor with a can of that compressed CO2, the same stuff we use to remove dusts from our computers. Could you use that to blow off any debris on the screen or MAF sensor itself?

It needs a thorough cleaning. use either electrical parts cleaner or MAF cleaner. its about 5 to 7 bucks a can from your local automotive parts store.

As others have said any auto parts store has it. CRC MAF cleaner is what I got also, like 6 bucks or some such.
