maf sensor

Hey I got a lancer ralliart 04 and im wondering if the maf from a eclipse 3.8 will work better or wor on my ralliart ?

work better how? it's just a sensor. it either works properly or doesn't...it's not really a matter of better or worse.

maf sensor

Im asking cuz I want to knw if the air/fuel ratio gonna be the same as the stock so that's y im asking cuz I knw it is just a sensor but I want to knw if that maf sensor from the eclipse 3.8 mivec will work on my car better than the stock one

Ok let me explain this for u ... im trying to change my map sensor and thast the one that control the air that going in and the fuel as well ... so in trying to change the map sensor from my 04 ralliart for one map sensor from a eclipse 3.8 to see in my car pump more gas because I got a big throttle body and I got to mush air so I need now more gas to habe a rich mix or regular mix so im wondering if the map sensor from the 3.8 will help or not

And both map sensor got the same numbers except the bottom ones

I dont see how it would make a difference. The ECU is the one that will determine your AFR. It's going to read a certain amount of air irregardless of what sensor it is. Are we talking about MAF or MAP sensors here?

Look the video thats the sensor on talking about but I got the sensor from a v6 and I want to knw if that work better that the stock one

a map sensor doesn't read airflow, only absolute pressure...if the engine is normally aspirated, it doesn't matter which sensor you use, because the manifold will only experience vacuum with no throttle input, and regular atmospheric pressure at wide open throttle...they should both be 1 BAR map sensors...

I wonder why he chose the 3.8L TB. That's the GT Eclipse TB right? Cranswick don't you have the same one or was that lanzer?

I choose that tb cus the stock one it is 60mm and that one is 65mm and I get more air but I need more gas and a flash fir my ecu or some ship or something for the ecu cuz where I live no one work with this ecu

There are no chips for this ecu. The only flash available you'll have to talk to Hackish. I dont think there's any benefit of the 65mm vs the 63mm TBs just because your intake manifold inlet is still only going to be 63mm either way and that's all that will be let in having smooth flow.
