LED Headlight upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my stock headlights and fog lights to LED on my 2013 Ralliart.

Do I need A conversion kit for each? If so which are the best?

First: wrong ralliart section. This is 04-06 ralliarts

Second: I would really not recommend LED headlights or even fogs. Light output is terrible and it's really only for looks. Won't really be able to see down the road with them.

My mistake, what would be a better option?

I dunno much about the new RAs but I would bet HIDs would be what your looking for. LEDs make good accent lights, turn signals and such. But like Raikiri said they don't shine far. HIDs in projector housings would shine brighter farther than stand bulbs.

Pickup a set of Depo headlights off amazon. They're replicas of the SSS lights with projectors (they run like $230) and pickup a set of HIDs from DDM and you'll be good with a nice set of lights. You can try throwing HIDs in your current fogs if you want and the kit should be plug and play as long as you get the correct size bulb

Thanks, I was trying to avoid buying new housings but it seems like that's not an option

Yeah don't try running HIDs in the stock halogen housings. Light output sucks. It's bright but you still can't see very well. My gfs car is like that and I can barely see anything compared to mine.

Yup. HIDs are designed to be focused by a projector housing. With a reflective housing all that light energy just gets scattered everywhere, and instead of lighting your way you just end up blinding oncoming traffic.
