Hey guys I have a 2005 lancer ralliart 2.4 liter non turbo 5 speed I recently changed out a bunch of steering and suspension stuff all new when I bought the car it had all gears. It shifted perfectly fine. It has a stage two performance clutch only has about 5 to 10,000 miles on the clutch I recently I have not been able to shift into fifth or reverse reverse went first if I mess around with the shifter, I can cycle through the gears it’ll go into reverse, but it’ll stay stuck in reverse, even when I put it into neutral, it’s still in reverse. I have to shut the car off cycle to the gears and then it goes back to normal just lost fifth gear. It will go into the gear but it will not have any clutch or throttle response the same with reverse. It just slides in there without even using the clutch. I’m not sure if my shift linkage is bad or the gearboxes bad the transmission seems fine at cycles through the years. The clutch is very responsive in low end gears.
