How Far do you push S+S?
How far do you push the stock sound system..(for those of you who have the S+S)? What i mean by that is, how far do you turn the radio up? I'm the type of person who is hesitant to really test something out...afraid of breaking it or something I dunno...sounds dumb im sure...but yeah, when I pop in a cd...I only turn it up to about level 22 max...how far do you all turn it up to?
Dude, you won't break anything... as long as you don't play it on max level 24/7. There are times when I feel like hearing a certain song as loud as I can, an I turn mine up to 49, and yeah it sounds like ****, but it's loud, which is what I need at the moment. Oh, but mine isn't a S+S, though. Anyway, normally it's on anywhere from 28-34.
Well i use from around 15-40 depending on whether i want to block out friend's or what... Whenever i've got my radio above 35 i normally have the windows down. Bass tuned to +6 and treble up to about +2 or +3
Can't wait till next summer to redo the audio system... I want some video in my car.. maybe a carputer

Well from what I've read in a couple other threads was that the rattle is a prominent thing on a lot of the RA's. I think the consensus is that it's the bracket with the windows buttons on it. I was just wondering if anyone has looked into it, sorry I know it's off topic.
By the way, just to stay on topic, I put a Sony head unit in my RA because I wasn't impressed with the stock head unit. A couple adaptors later I get a noticable improvement...and no, I heard the rattling before I changed head units.
