I'm about to head out and check on some tinting prices. how much did some of you pay?

i'm planning on 20% with a 5% visor strip

A good job should cost around $150-250.

 

you might be ble to get it for a bit less in atlanta. more demand where its hot. I got mine done for $100. quality stuff. used lumar tints. do ur research and make sure they are using good stuff.

 

Including that visor strip, probably around $200-220 bux. 5 major windows, plus the two little ones on the back door, and windshield strip.. thats alot of tint and work. It would look nice. Maybe save a little money and get a vinyl sun strip on the outside. You can also make up graphics to overlay it with. That looks cooler in my opinion. And it blocks out ALL the sun. =]

 

You pay for what you get.

 

Make sure you get a warranty. The tint I have now and the tint I had on my protege when I was in Texas both had a lifetime warranty.

 

I got the BEST tint I could find for all 5 windows installed: $205.

 

I think that's what I paid for mine too. I think if I wanted the windshield strip it was another 15 or 25 dollars.

 

$250 for my tint my friend paid $25 for his whinsheild. my estimate $260

 

I paid I think $170 for 20% all around (3 years ago), still looks great.

 

250 Canadian (about 200US) for 35% polarized film with lifetime warranty.

Got my Lancer done 5% for $100 a couple years ago, professional job.

Prices are different everywhere. Look up some shops in your phonebook and call around.

 

Paid $210 for mine... 3M tint, lifetime nation wide warranty. Used lumar before... it turns purple after a while, 3M is guaranteed not to.

 

I just have to buy the tint. My friend can do it for me
