New Ex. Tip, Wax, Mitsu Overlay redone, pics

Whew! Nice weather kicks ***....need to take some photos around sunset, but in the meantime, here ya go....took off the stock tip and put on one that better fills the bumper cutout...thankfully the only change in sounds is a slightly beeper note at idle - I was fearing a ricey buzz during installation!

Comments, etc..giver!

I'm not a fan of the Evo wings on our cars but I like how the black in the wing contrasts with the white of the car.

Azure, those pics rock man! And I think part of it is due to the crazy wax job on that fancy metallic paint of yours!

What brand of tip is it? It looks roughly 5" in diameter, 4.5 maybe... am I right?

Overlay was pretty simple..I measured a side of the mitsu diamond as well as it's lenth/width at the longest points, then took my template measurements (done on paper) and put it over the actual badge to test. Once that was perfect, I put the template overtop of all-season viynl (I used Canadian Flag stickers usually used for the backs of pickups to cut out from) and placed them over the logo. I did them the same way last time, but redid them as, after 1+year on my car, the front one was pretty gross with bug guts and crap...never came unstuck though, and worked like a charm!

Tip is from 'Tuned Performance' (standard auto/accessory company), with a 3.5 outlet. It fills the bumper gap PERFECTLY, while doing nothing to change the sound of the car for the way of rice - a simply deeper tone at idle --> 2500RPMS that's only noticable if you know the car. I needed something that looked better but DIDn'T tweak the sound too much.

I was way off... so off!!!

I just ordered a Magnaflow tip for mine... I hope I get it soon. I got a bargain on it, that's why I could (finally) afford it!
