Color Code
I've searched and found the Phoenix Red color code (P85)... but what concerns me is that my Phoenix Red Ralliart color code is P23C.
It's the code on the silver plate inside the hood after the EXT. in engraved letters/numbers, correct? If so, mine says P23C not P85. Anyone else's Phoenix Red have P23C not P85?
I'm about to buy an Evo8 spoiler for my Ralliart and I need the color code, so I'm a little confused on what to say my color code is.

I do not have my ppg book in front of me but ,color names do not mean a thing they
are there for customers to fall in love .Cars in the same line with the same color code
will have different names.Like sun burst yellow on vette ralley yellow on camaro just
an example. If the color code number is different the color is different in some way.
I hope this helps.

if you found the tag in the hood go with that number but if you are unsure get your vin number and call a mitsi dealer (parts department) and verify the color code (tell them you want to price touch up paint).

Why DO they change codes and names so much? I have what the dealer called "Cool Silver Metallic" paint on my 2004 RA. The paint code is A69. Ibought a touch up pen this year (from Medina Mitsubishi) and A69 is listed as Munich silver. This I used for stone chips on the front and is a perfect match. I like the fact that theres a clear coat on the other end.

Also, where I bought my car is a Dodge dealership only now and couldn't even deal with the question of "Do you have touch up paint for a 2004 Lancer RA?" It sucks when Mitsu closes down dealerships and sticks you with dodge or whoever.
