Hey! I plan to paint my mitsu badges this week end but I don't know what kind of paint to use. I just want to paint in Dark Grey my front and rear diamonds badges to get rid of the *&?$%$ chrome (i'll debadged the RA and Lancer badges). Also, do i need to sand the badge before painting them? thanks you!

 

you can either get them painted at a shop or try to use dealership touchup paint, but i dont knowif you were thinking about using spray paint because it wouldnt really match. i wouldnt paint them, id just take them off.

 

vynal overlays are probably the best instead of painting.

Yeah i was thinking about buying a spay paint. I know they are some for plastic. Does the badges are in plastic? I dont know about vynil overlays... I dont want to ordered something from the web.

 

jus go to a shop that has car vinyl and buy a little sheet then take an exacto knife to cut around the diamonds. And presto, you have color emblems. Its not rocket science

 

i did the vinyl overlay on mine using reflective 3M film, was easy just do it slowly with a x-acto knife.

 

There's a guy on here who sells vinyl overlays for the Mistu emblem. do a serch for it cuz the names not coming to mind. I was about 2 weeks ago or so. He charges like $5 for both. Or you could drive to Autozone and by some vinyl and do it yourself. Lancershop.com also sells them i believe
