True, true... What's everyone opinion on other types of spoilers? I know some look just tacky, but what about these? Any opinions on them with the RRM body kit and some black or maybe hyper black rims...

I think this spoiler looks really good. The fact that it is carbon fiber and supposedly 2 inches higher than a factory RA one makes me want it even more.

carbon fiber wing from carbon trix

A spoiler is something like a lip or the spoilers on nascar cars where the air only travels over. A wing is something where air travels over and under creating lift or downforce depending on which side of the wing is flat................
That cf wing is awsome looking, I vote for that one.

so are you saying that a flat spoiler has no purpose? according to your definition, air passes over, creating downforce, and under, creating lift. well. hell y even have it on there, it cancels eachother out?

The evo's wing is a wing, but mounted upside down so it creates downforce. Spoilers don't have pedestals and air can only pass on one side. I doubt the stock RA wing spoiler has any aerodynamic properties and is neutral like most every other car wing spoiler out there that you find on typical cars.
