yeah unfortunately you have to drill two more holes like the evo wing. not hard at all to do. and if you put the stock wing on it you dont see the two holes anyways so its a sweet deal! time to get an aftermarket front bumper and get some carbon canards and a splitter.

well the arguement usually goes that no wing on a lancer (with the exception of the evo) will be functional since we never reach speeds high enough to need them. But whether you get one for functionality, show, or both, its your car and money. do what you want and f--- the rest of the people that feel the need to criticize

+1 but -1 on the so called "speed" needed for the functionality of a wing... a wing delivers if its setup for a slow speed or at a great speed those 600 or 900 dollar wings are fully adjustable for any racing situation NO MATTER speed, so speed is not an inssue or a factor.. or do you think that hondas at auto x (to put an example) put wings on hatchbacks for the looks..?

this is as debatible as "wheelie bars" on a fwd, some say they work, some think is crap....

Errrh actually it all depends on the rudder height, blade width, blade design, and blade angles....Not neccessary that wing will only work on high speed.....errrh how high are we talking about?

im not talking about anything in particular, its just that usually when someone gets a wing on their lancer that isnt fiberglass, people start saying "why would you put that on your car, its not like you ever go fast enough for it to be functional." I was just stating that.

Just wondering if any of you RA guys are actually buying wings because you race your car and are in need of extra rear downforce?
