Ralliart Mudflaps
My exhaust is a bit high yes, I have a heat shield under there which stops it burning the bumper - When I get the RRM catback I'll lower it a bit.
The reason the muflaps are so expensive is because they come with brackets to fit them perfectly to the stock holes, and are high quality glossy polyurethane.
And finally a pic of the front coz some of you cant find the ones I've posted elsewhere:

(it doesnt have a front skirt because if you notice its a very short bumper - almost flat from the headlamps down - which is gorgeous and sporty in my opinion)
There's me spoiling the pic:

If you missed it before here's my interior:

I love this car so much - unlike every other car I've had where modifications always seem like they are not meant for the car, the Lancer always gives me the impression that it really wants to be modified, and the body really takes the evo-inspired parts without them looking out of of place, which is what I love.... Imagine a bonnet vent on a Civic... out of place... but on a lancer, the lines work.

I decided to fit them myself, the brackets make them install professionally, although I had to drill two holes in my Accolade bumper to fit the back ones, which wasnt a problem at all.
I think they improve the look of the car further, but its an each to their own area. Most Evo's here have them, and I never liked them when I saw them dealer-fitted on standard lancers. But having the Accolade rear bumper makes them work in my opinion.
They cost me £100 or $200 from the dealer.

Well where I live we kinda need em as most of our roads are winding, steep, and have loose gravel on top. I live in mountains in North Wales ya see. Search Google for 'Snowdonia' and youll see!

Yeah my front skirts are chipped, my doors are marked from gravel thats been kicked up - I basically needed these to save my bodywork.
Only problem is, I've had to raise my car up about 25mm so they can clear the constant changes in elevation and direction in our roads, not to mention our shire's obsession with speed bumps.

Dude, those are doing more than sprucing up the look of his car. They are actually serving a puprose by preserving the look of his car. If you ask me I think they look pretty nice. I had thought about getting those 2 years ago, way back when, when I first got my car. One of those mods that I didn't write down and forgot all about.
Good job on the car Diavlo. I thought it was an Evo though. Had to check your profile on the side to see what kinda car you were driving at first.
how does that back bumper line up with the rest of the car?
another question....iv always wondered about shifting with your left hand, and sitting on the other side of the car...would you pick the other side of the car so you could shift with your right hand if you could, or does it not even make a difference since you problably learned that way?

I prefer to be able to have my strongest hand on the wheel whilst changing gear. Whenever I drive a left-hand drive in Europe I find I cant keep the car straight when changing gear!
The back bumper is fine in fitment, about 10mm lower than the sideskirts, but now the mudflaps are on they hide the difference quite effectively.
