Mudflap question

I'm looking at some universal mudflaps. The dealer said you cut them to fit. Would they work with an O-Z Lancer or do we need specially fitted flaps?

Also, with a silver Lancer, should I get white, red, or blue?

well u got the ralliart graphics...
do u plan on an underbody kit? wut color interior r u gonna do if any...wut color for engine dress up??

answer those..and than the answer for mudflaps will smack u in the face but since the white/red/black on ralliart, and u got a red strut bar and battery hold down bar....i'd go with red probably..but if u think thats to showy just get white. either way it will look cool..but if u plan on a red underbody kit i'd get red flaps. just my 2 cents

Probably not going with underglow. I'm leaning towards red, but I don't want them to be too attention-grabbing. They're only mudflaps, after all.

Anyone know about fit? I want to place my order soon, so I need to know.

Look for some Ralliart flaps. They are a direct fit for the reg. lancers and Evos.

Yes, but I'm poor. Ralliart ain't cheap, where as these are $22. Plus, I don't want to be a poser with Ralliart mudflaps but no performance parts. I liked the stripes because they don't actually say "Ralliart," they just give the look.

So getting back to the main point, doesn't anyone know if universal mudflaps will work on these cars?

Cool Yes, cheap universal ones do work

I bought two pairs small sized universal one at my local auto store for $14. These ones do not have holes in them so I marked the correct position of the screws with masking tape and drilled holes in them. Two holes on each mudflap isn't too bad. But the biggest problem I had was that the thickness of the madflap (~1.5mm) makes it very hard to stick the lower plastic nail at the front into the hole again. So right now I am using just a long plastic nail to hold it there. You can't really see the difference unless you look at it closely, and my car isn't a show car. I'd rather save my $386 for mods.
