By that logic every car in the world should have a hood vent. Please come up with some other excuse. For the record, MIVEC has no bearing on engine temp.

Not every car in the world autocrosses? I was unaware you needed a hood vent to autocross...
After doing a bit of reading? I clearly stated above I had a Lancer before, an 02 to be exact. In my opinion questioning an un-needed hood vent is hardly thinking Im better than anyone, but hey thats your opinion...
I also find it amusing that one of you who are accusing me of hating has an Evo style hood and wing on your Ralliart... Go figure...

heres alittle info on the car everthing is stock except the accolade body kit (which was a cheaper deal at the time instead of replaceing my smashed front and rear oem bumpers) and an aem intake.
we have anywhere from 8(alltime lowest)to 45(the most iv seen) regulars show up pretty much the same guys its held in sarnia ontario right across from port huron mi. we do get the odd american,no mitsubishi's so far.
the hood works great when i installed it my temp gauge went down alittle and has stayed there,anytime of year you can see the heat waves puring out.
