My Short Ram Installed




Does this look right, I need to find a heat shield or something. Its the RRM Short Ram.

Yup, that's right. You can usually find generic heat shields on eBay.

Also, looks like it's time to replace your brake fluid. It shouldn't be that dark (should be near clear).

otter:my brake fluid looked dark the day i bought my car brand new.

Then you should replace it. Brake fluid should only be two colors, clear (kinda yellow/clear) or blue (if you use blue-dyed fluid.) Dark fluid means it's contaminated and needs to be changed out. Same goes for power steering fluid.

yeah that sucks............ive heard that when it gets dark it needs to be changed but when i bought it new i figured everything was normal. i guess it was bad when i first bought the car, thats a problem.

There are blue dyed brake fluids. Some brake fluid IS that dark... brand new.

i know there are brake fluids that are dark smart guy......from all the ralliarts i've seen the brake fluid resevoir has all been yellowish/clear from the factory...either way even if it came blue from the factory, in that picture it looks a bit dirty greenish IMO....
