hid light problem
I payed 700 bux to get hid lights on the car and they have yet to work longer than 24 hours. I have taken the car back twice and now a third time is going to happen. the first time the dims stopped working and only the brights worked, then the brights soon after stopped working. second time one headlight stopped working then the other completely, and now the third time they decided to wire the lights to the battery. the lights worked then didnt work and now do work and im assuming in a short time they will not work again. i have the underdrive pulley and live in a cold environment, -30 degrees celsius, could this be why they are not working? has anyone else had this problem?

I don't think the temperature should have anything to do with it right now since they're new. Take it back, get a refund on the job. Sounds like the idiots you're having install them don't know what they're doing. A HID kit installation isn't all that hard to mess up, especially the plug and play ones. Also 700$ is FREAKIN' $$ for a kit with installation... You can find one on here for about 300$ and maybe a 100$ installation if anything.

I had 2 kits and the first cut my engine out at 5000RPM....due to what I can only think of was electrical noise cant think of any other reason. The second has ecu protection with a relay for hi/lo and so far so no issues at all they work great and the install took 20 mins.
Contact me if you want to know where I got them.....
