Newby!

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I signed up in the hope of finding out more about the Lancer Ralliart. American's are alot more advanced in modifying these cars compared to the Australian's. As you gather, I'm from Australia (NSW).

I own an 05 Lancer Ralliart (VRX in Australia) 2.4L.

Modifications include:
- Hurricane 4-1 44mm race design headers and h/flow cat. Finished off by 2 1/4" mandrel bent Lukey ultra flow system with one big resonator to keep it quiet (the way I like it).
- 4300k hi/low HID kit.
- 19x8" SSW Eclipse rims. (or 17" BSA rims for stockies)
- Evo spoiler.
- On the occasion a home made SRI system with a K&N pod. Though I felt no gains so I don't use it. It is also a bit too loud for my likings.

Here are some pics of my car. Tell me what you think.

With 17's on.

With 19's on.

More pics to come. Uploading sites arn't working for me today.

Very nice pictures.

Out of curiosity, did you swap the Hallogen bulbs for the HIDs or did you do a retrofit ?

Very nice car bro

Thanks for your comments.

The halogen bulbs are not used. Its a complete HID kit with the ballests etc, not just the fake HID swap over globes. - I highly recommend them. The life of the globes is alot longer, and the clarity produced by the light from them is amazing.

I do have full body shots of the car. I just couldn't post them up last night because photobucket was not working. It is working for me today though so here you go. Note: Car is not lowered, it is on stock suspension.

No I know. You must have ballasts to use HIDs My question was if you were using the hallogen reflector with HIDs or you did a retrofit ?

Ohh sorry!
I'm still unsure what you mean. If you mean the little reflectors that go over the globe then they were replaced as another one came with the kit. If you mean the whole reflecting system of the light then no they are still the same.

Hope I answered your question
