Interior mod questions

1. The silver strip that goes across the dashboard - I would like to make that shiny, how can I go about doing that?

2. How hard is it to take out the cloth which surrounds the power window controls on the inner door skins? I want to add some leather inserts inside instead.

Regards

there are aftermarket dash inserts.

google search that.

as far as making the cloth into leather, there is a post somewhere where someone actually taught you how to do it, he used glue and staples and it is relatively easy to take out, you have to take your door panel off.

basically if you dont know how to do it, and you want it to last you should take it to a local car interior modifier, it shouldnt be to expensive, i would leave it to him cause theres a lot of tight angles.

but if you wanna take it on, id look in the show section about a year ago.
