Tints?

Illinois tint laws are simple -
Windshield - 6" non-reflective
Front windows - none
Rear windows - any darkness
Back window - any darkness
I'd recommend staying within your local law.

Thanks otter for that information. I was somewhat aware of the that tint law but my question was what lancer guys in IL have gotten away with for window tint and cops said nothing. What is the general cost of a tint ticket anyway?
23% up front and 14% in back according to the most recent officer.. haha
I get pulled over from time to time but normally the tickets get taken care of (law enforcement is big in my family)
The first officer said that the tint in front was 35% and 20% in back which would have meant my fronts were legal, however I knew from the beginning they weren't. Remember factory tint plays as well because I think my tint is 30% front and 20% back or roughly... but paired up with the factory tint its a little less.
