modifiying projectors

has anyone figured out how to combine hi and lo beams on your projectors?

When you make a post like this you really have to be a bit more.. informative as to what you're talking about. For all I know you're trying to retrofit some projectors into the stock headlights and trying to make the high/low beam turn on at the same time. But to others you could be talking about the RRM projectors, or the ebay ones...

ok, i think he's talking about the older ebay ones and turining both the low and high beams at the same time. why would you want that?> thats really bright and can blind oncoming traffic...

trying to modify ebay projectors

i have ebay projectors and i have never been happy with the amount of light they give off in either lo or hi beam. while using hi beam, i was curious if anyone had toyed around with the idea of energizing the low beams along with the hi beam....and i dont know many people who drive into oncoming traffic with their hi beams on( unless youre a jerk). plain and simple, i want them brighter. is there any replacement lamps i could replace that would help at all. just seeing if anyone else wanted more light from their projectors and what they did about it. thanks

I really woudln't recommend putting the highs and lows on together because if you do so it will blind the hell out of people on the road.... I kinda tried havin them both on last night and it was not so great.... anyway... why don't you try getting some better lightbulbs? see if that helps a bit...

Angry wow i didnt think this was going to be a hard concept to grasp.

i guess im not being clear about them both beams being on at the some time. not all the time....just on as the high beam not low, not all the time,when nobody else is on the road....like when everyone uses high beams, when the road is empty. does anyone know what kind of lamps they are i dont feel like taking them out to find out what bulbs they are id rather do it once to put new ones in.

i found outwhat they were. h1for hi and h7 for lo . ill just get sylvania silverstar. thanks for the input

hey if you worried about the lights sucking, just get HIDs for the ebay projectors. thats what I did and now my low beams are brighter than my high beams. check out http://www.xenonlink.com and HID kits are sold for pretty dam cheap.
