Damn Flip your ride's coming along pretty well, did your calipers bolt up without any mods to the existing brake lines?

thanks man, as for the calipers the 2nd gen DSM calipers will bolt straight on and use the same rotor. only reason i had to make adaptors for the ss lines i got was because the guy who originally had them ordered ss lines for the calipers and had the wrong fitting put on there. you could also just use your stock brake line and they will bolt right on. i just couldnt find it in myself to either throw the lines i had away or spend another 75 bucks on RA ss lines. ss line adaptors FTW!! props go to otter for the info.

check out the DSM brake thread in the RA how-to section

Thanks Flip, I read the thread about 2nd gen calipers and there were a lot of people talking about different things but it's good to know for sure now. I'll probably get the RRM SS lines with the 2nd gen calipers in the near future.

Sounds good , I've even researched about swapping out the outlander brake rotors (bigger diameter)with the 2nd gen calipers .y only doubt is that I'm not sure if it will fit on the oem rims. Still reseaching that......

the HID pics, these are giving me a hard time. im trying to align them straight but as you can see in the pics the passenger side light is really high on the right side. and the driver side light is kinda low, and not as bright,

the way the light appears out of the projector (saying if you just had one headlight turned on) it goes low and to the left, then steadily goes higher to the right. ill try and take some pics of what im talking about later on and post them.

here are some pics.

after i installed them

after first attempt correcting the alignment, the right side isnt so high like before but still is higher then the far left side. i want to correct it because i keep lighting up houses, fences, and other cars i pass by. i feel kinda bad cause it lights up there whole inside of there car lol

if you have any ideas on how i could correct this or just let me know if this is normal.

i thought the same thing lol, but im rocking the cf hood and i dont think ima go with the hid fogs, but maybe one day.

damn, maybe just this set of projectors then? or maybe just set the right one down more. pm me a pic of your hids against a wall just so i can see if its my set or just a normal thing.

Sounds like it's coming along pretty good ....

Good luck with the cf hood here in Florida , mine looked good for about 2 years then went to ****, got all hazy and white. I had to wax it 2x a week just so it wouldn't look white.

As for the projectors that's the way they come. There is really nothing wrong with them they are just made to a different standard than the U.S. I'll look an see if I can find the article to help clarify what I'm saying. The _/_/ put out is normal. You can fix it but it's a bit of a pain in the ***. You would have to take the clear plastic covering off of the light and make a flat blockoff plate. Then reseal the light. Ooo that reminds me , be sire to reseal the the projectors regardless off you do this or not, they come with a very minimal amount of sealer and usually leak and then short out.
