Euro-spec '07 Lancer
The engine specs are:
Displacement: 1997
borexstroke mm: 85 x 88
Compression ratio: 10:1
Compression chamber: pentroof (i don't know what this is)
Valve number: 16
The gearbox:
the model code is: F5M42-2-R7B4
5 gears
Gear ratio: 1st 3,583 2nd 1,947 3rd 1,379 4th 1,030 5th 0,820 reverse 3,363
Differential gear ratio: 4,058
Hope this helps Ramy. If you need more info, just ask. I have the full workshop manual for the european Lancers (1,6 and 2,0), but it's too large to upload.
@Flip: the engine is not half bad, nice torque from down in the revband, nice power up top, but it's just too little of it, just 136HP and 176Nm from a 2.0 litre engine (European manufacturers like Renault have 203HP from N/A 2.0 engines, not to mention Hondas). Also the mpg is not great, about 22mpg on a combined cicle of city and motorway. And the worse part is that there are no aftermarket parts for the engine, only remaping that gives 149HP and 199Nm
