you could've ordered it to have the holes already cut out... iirc anyway

the carbon VIS hood is functional in everyway...smal ram for SHORT ram INTAKE, weights nothing compare to the stock hood, looks pretty hot, because of the vents your intake will sound ridiculously loud and when you hit MIVEC it's the sound is going to scare you, and as one of the guys menctioned before, you will see the hot air coming out on the vents....
i have the vis hood, RRM hood now doesn't have that RAM AIR part but if you have a cold air intake it won't be useful anyway....

I bought the hood used on craigslist for $200. No complaining here about having to cut the holes myself.

i find that offensive for two reasons...it's ugly as ****, and also the reason scooby's have that is cause that's where the intercooler is...you know, to cool the air spewing from their mitsubishi turbo..lol

a lancer does not require such an eye-sore

The VIS hood with 2 vents in it is so god awful. I throw up in my mouth when i look at that hood. Why couldnt they just replicate the evo 8 hood???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The only company that makes a good looking hood is accolade.......... not taking the gamble on ordering from those idiots.

im actually a very big fan of the VIS hood with that second vent. goes right in front of where my intake would be located so its cool air to the intake right away.

The VIS hood is very functional, the heat is extracted right over the header and the air intake is right over the SRI. I can really see the heat waves coming through the vents on my VIS hood.
