Yea I hope I do as well!

What kind of wheel damage is repairable? I didnt think it would be possible to fix mine. But maybe i was wrong. i actually hope I am wrong in this case...

In the mean time I am rolling on the OEM wheels from the green RA that have Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1's on them. Thinking about getting my old worn out Escta's switched out for the other set of Z1's so I can be on one type of tire all the way around.

pretty much if you can see the bead of the tire its junk...that's pretty much what we follow here at my work...

if its only sligthly bent then its POSSIBLE...
but for the most part...OE wheels will fix larger dents than AM wheels...they almost always crack...
yours is definetly junked...i'd suggest get a tire too since there's that much amage to the wheel, god knows how the sidewall is..

also nothing on the front side of the wheel is repairable...because there's no place to put the jack to fix the wheel without ****ing it up more or at all depending on spoke count and pattern

and cracks are only repairable if it still looks straight but it's cracked and depends how far they go into the barrel...if it's only on the lip of the wheel it's ok...if it starts getting into the barrel most likely it's not repairable..(we send those out tho...we don't have a welder nor aluminum welding capable techs)

basically something liek that is repairable...easy...pretty much like the picture shows

something like that not so much...junk...

Thanks for that info Jorge!

I took off the wheels and replaced them with the OE wheels and Direzza Z1's tires for now. I did notice that the passenger side rear tire has a flat side now too. it wasnt enough to let the tire go flat like the front but its visually noticeable... :/

anytime man..
if its just visibly bent it's probably repairable(like the 1st pic)....
if it's undeniably obviously bent(like the 2nd pic)...more than likely it's junk...

some soecialty wheels companies MAY be able to fix it..but honestly it's probably cheaper to get a new wheel...

ps...hope this is some kind of transition time so you can sell the rest of your wheels maybe...and get a whole new set of "better" wheels...*coughcoughminecoughcough*
lol

Changed the grilles to mesh, lifted the rear of the hood 1/2 inch to help evacuate heat, switched to Direzza Z1 tires on stock wheels since my others set got bent, replaced a seized tie rod end, retuned for a more responsive low end...

Installed ceramic coated header and downpipe from the green car...

And went racing all weekend!!!

New downpipe doesnt have a cat or the crushed section that went under the subframe. And below 2000 rpm it has a really nice deep tone. But above that it gets really raspy and ricey sounding thanks to my Carbon Fiber race muffler... Going to swap over the muffler from the green car to see if that helps tone it down.

Racing was fun as well! Got in a ton of practice laps on saturday during the school and learned lots of tips. And improved my self during the actual race on sunday. I had been coming in 11th out of 14 in the unlimited class at the last couple of events. This time I came in 10th out of 16 in unlimited and 54th out of 75 overall. Had a great time but got really sunburnt standing out on the black top all day... Need to remember SUPER strong sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella next time...

Well. I spend a lot of time on the car last night. Here's what went down:

- Changed the driver side tranny mount.
- Switched to the Injen SRI.
- Left out the stock air box support bracket, my heat shield, and snorkel.
- Tightened up a tie rod end that had some play in it.
- Painted the "BFGoodrich" lettering on one of my tires white.
- Put my Motegi's and BFG's back on.
- Washed her.

Results of changing the tranny mount. My grinding hasnt occured. And the popping seems to have calmed down. But it is still slightly there. Im starting to think I didnt fully tighten a bold on the rear motor mount when I worked on it forever ago. So Im going to check that when I get a chance.

As a side not. 16x7 +48 wheels with 225/45 tires lowered on S.Techs rub like crazy! I tried putting my 8mm spacers on the rear end. It looked AMAZING! But it rubbed like crazy whenever I had to steer at all. Id need to roll the fenders, maybe even pull them a bit if I wanted to run that regularly.

Also today is my birthday! Here is a video of what my coworkers did to my office: http://videos-e-18.ak.instagram.com/...08951674_n.mp4

Thanks man!

Yea she's looking a bit better than she has been. Going to try to buff out some cone marks tomorrow, And she needs a few light bulbs. The tiny one on my left depo is out. Im going to try to replace them both with red lights. And the far left light on the tail is out too.

We are going to Hooters for my b-day / bachelor party tomorrow so I wanna get her looking nice because it will probably turn into a car meet if half of the people I invited show up. LOL

I'd stay away from putting red in the front unless they're independent and can be turned on/off for show/meet purposes. You're asking for trouble with cops.

We are pretty close with the cops where I am from. One of our high school friends is now a cop so they come hang with us and shoo away all the ricers. But they cleared it up for us one time. You cant have blue lights on the car, you can have red as long as they arent flashing.

late...but happy bday man...
car's looking good...

at least in michigan you can't have red OR blue lights on the front of the car flashing or not...
and if it's a headlight only the regular yellowish(halogen) or white(like hid's) is legal...(yellow, greeen etc are not....my buddy put green bulbs in his headlights - 98 firebird, looked horrible - and got pulled over 5 mins later...lol)
they may or may not stop you depending on what you're doing and what car you drive...
