lol! I am not bashing Honda here, but I love that commercial.. where they are like "New Honda Civic SI" with "200hp"... they fail to say how low the torque is. lol makes me laugh every time. Such a marketing gimmick. But everyone to there own!

it's awesome actually...i don't notice the torque difference but 6th gear is low. handles amazing...redline is 8900 rpm....engine screams. $900 turbo kits are even extremely low for an extremely old si....friend today went on a dyno at a car show and made 423hp.

mods are still pricey....5-6k for turbo kits. not doing anything like that now though. could hands down smoke my old RA. plus i like teh style better. never had so many compliments on a car. here's some pics...sorry for jackin the thread but jsut this one post lol. I wonder if flip ever checks back since he got his genesis.

and 23 lb less torque....34 more hp...at the same weight.

k3lv...prob the cleanest, most aggressive build i've seen on a 1st gen RA.

i was joking about the $900 turbo kit man, i just love when the "typical" honda kids ask me about how much i spent on my turbo setup, and they think $2k is expensive, and continue to tell me that they can get one for less than $1,000 on ebay, but don't realise that it requires a manifold, fabrication, and tuning...but "oh no, it will make 400hp, and LSD's suck..."

I race with DSM guys, honda guys, hell even neons and GM sport compacts, and it's the drivers not the car...i don't hate for real, i just like stirring up the dust after it's settled...

really like the si man...but your friends gotta hate the back seat...

I can't get over how the original 2006 si rims mimic the ralliarts rims for that year and not those 18s look just like the newer ralliart rims. Who's copying who

Those are actually my 17's....my 18's are being put on tomorrow not too much to compare between the two cars cause styling is much different and mine's faster with a slicker gearbox and lsd :P I'd post pics of the 18's but i don't wanna thread jack more than i already have just wanted to say how much i like this 1st gen RA...i'll still be comin back for pics. I'd like to see those fenders on and colour matched.
