Ideas for modding the stock bumper cover? (05 OZ)

This one:

Anyone have any ideas to make this bumper not quite so lame, on the cheap?

Btw, this isn't my car, mine is red.

I thought about cutting off the middle part where the mitsu logo is, and bondo-ing it and repainting it, then doing a silver mesh over the holes.

I know for a fact that someone has done this exact thing to theirs before, Looks super nice. Opens the front up nicely for the mesh. I'll see if i can find the post and link it.

Found it. Well, I found one like it, this isn't the one i was directly referring too but you get the idea.

Yeah, a nose chop would be nice. That, blacked out headlights, and a ralliart lip.

Slater whenever I do this I'll put the plastic inserts up for sale. I have no idea when that will be, though. I've never done anything like this before and I wanna make sure I do it right.

Only negative about doing a nose chop on that bumper is then the centerline on the hood will look out of place. Just some food for thought
