Removing your Badges
personally i think that the badging on the RA is nice and clean. i'm not removin ****e on mine. i see yer point about the RalliArt emblem not meshing with black tho. i've got DP white tho, so it looks ok to me. i dunno, i like peeps to see that i've got the RA version.
yeah.
yeah.
nice, i just finished mine as well, goo-gone works well on that sticky mess. plus im in AZ so the hair dryer wasnt needed, its a nice 100+ outside so took about 5 minutes to work the floss all the way through, and about 20-30 minutes clean up with goo gone, etc. hey azure how did you get the 3 diamond logo to turn red?!
hey demock your in phx as well? just noticed, ive been trying to find more lancer enthusiasts around here but when i go to the pavilions or what have you there really isnt much mitsubishi love going on, usually go with my MR2 buddies.

For the mitsu badges, since I couldn't find red vynil (however you spell it), so I measured out the diamonds and used canada fla decals, cut to fitt, overtop.
Looks good, if I do say so myself.

azure that is slick tho man i do like the red symbol alot, i have the dark grey model so i dont know if there really is another color besides silver that would work. O btw did you get all the audio questions answered?
Hey
Yeah, thaNKS, I was just curious what to use for the remote on wire.
I think red, being the Mitsu logo's 'colour', would look good on any colour ride, m'self....
Thanks for the compliments, as well!

Azure, this is exactly what I was thinking of doing too, but i was thinking more paint minded. didn't even think to use vynil (how the hell do you spell that?). so you did that by taking the badge off, wraping it in the sticker, and then sticking it back on? or did you do something different?
oh yeah, one more thing, did you do the front too?
cheers.

Rydog:
It wasn't necessary to remove the badges at all. What I did was use a Points Ruler (only thing I had on me, anything will work) to find the size of the diamonds edges, as well as how big across they were...it worked out to be approx. 8 points or something. Then I took the measurements, got a piece of semi-transparent paper, and drew one diamond. After that, I double-checked my drawing by placing it over the Mitsu badge just to make sure. After that, I came inside, placed my viynl under my drawing, and used a ruler and razor to cut out the logo. I didn't just wrap the badge in the sticker because I wanted the beveled (slanted) edges to remain silver. And yes, I also did the front:
