that's kick *** man. i may have to do that. sorry to copy you, but it seems easier than paint and even easier than trying to find actual red logos.
kudos on a job well done.

question: have you taken it to a coin-op car wash yet to see if it withstands the water pressure?

I wouldn't ever take my car to a drive-through wash, but for the DIY wash places, yeah, it's had ho problems, as long as you keep a fair distance away and don't go on obvious angles that would be detramental to the adhesive. No problems with the 'copying', I'm sure plenty of others before me have done something similar.

On an '04 Ralliart you can remove the Mitsu emblem (star) on the back without any problems? Isn't it just stuck on with adhesive, no holes if it's removed? If there are holes I'm leaving it on, but I really want to remove the Diamond and the Lancer badging. Leaving just the Ralliart emblem on. Anyone know if the Mitsu Diamond on the front bumber can be removed also (just adhesive) without any problems...hoping it's just been stuck on over paint. I have the DW pearl so thought if I removed the front also wouldn't be to noticable. Once again, don't want to remove anything that will leave holes showing.....Thanks in advance for the info....

I took the rear star off - no problems. I think the front has holes - not positive

Yeah ...I did my badgez last week, ever since I read the how to forums....Much props and Mahaloz to that dude that posted that thread...so can anyone confirm or show pixes that there are no holes to the diamond star symbol??? And did anyone try to paint them black??? Hmmm...I wonder if I should try black...maybe someone will come out w/ black out tail lights down the line...

Bluebatmobile.com has the black-out overlays for the EVO 8 for $30. They should fit the RA, no?

There are no holes behind the rear star - trust me - I removed it no problem

the front diamond does have two hole behind it but that can easily be fixed by buying some vinal and tracing out the diamond you just removed i belive i will look fine on all the colors except the white because it may not be exact but thats what trial and error is for

I just painted my front diamond with it on the car. Just take your time when you do your masking job.

Looks sweet.

I was thinking of popping it off and painting it - then putting it back on. I don't think there's any glue behind it. Hey PDX - post a pic if you can please!

P.S. - Does mitsu sell spray touch up paint?
