Its double sided tape on the back of it. There are also 2 little plastic aligning pins, so the floss trick would be hard to do.

I will try to snap a pic or three tonight or tomorrow....

I've got a thunder grey model and I'd like to paint both the front and rear emblems to match. Anyone know if the dealer would have touch up paint to sell? I think someone asked this earlier.

I would also like to know if anyone has taken off the back trunk mitsu badge. Is it just glued on like the Lancer and Ralliart badges, or is it wedged into the trunk?

The reason I want to take it off is because my Lancer badge was stolen and ralliart badge was half off, leaving deep key scratches on the paint. I would bet they would come back for the Mitsu badge and leave more scratches if they had a chance.

 

It comes off the same way. Its not wedged on.

The dealer sells a paint pen for about $8. It's a double sides pen with your car color on one end and a clear coat on the other end.

I bought one but i do not believe that they are very good. They do NOT sell spray cans though. Don't know why. you'd think they'd make more money.

 

Don't get the dealership paint pen, it's practically worthless. paintscratch.com is a good place to get touch up paint. Just give them your paint code and they can set you up.

 

debadged my ride...nt much trouble...the only trouble is dat in the front got three small holes...but it aint obvious coz my ride is black...hehe

i took all the emblems off the back of my silver 06 and it looks sweet man... much cleaner than stock.
