Painted my calipers
I'm not sure about the drums... but the front is okay.
Are you as pleased by the finish as I am?!? This is quality stuff the sold us! The only thing with this paint kit is that the brush is shi*ty as hell... the hair just would come off of it and I had to get them off of the paint. But after a couple of minutes, I decided to go get a small brush I already had and it did the job fine. Overall, I'd rate this product as 4.5/5. The paint is fantastic and the cleaner works great (even with temperature karker paint already on the calipers). Since a couple of good brushes won't set you back that much, I think it's a good buy... it's so cheap anyway!

So, when are you doing yours?!? He, he...
hey Works, I also did mine using Red Duplicolor last friday.... it looks exactly the same as yours.
how many coats did you put on? it did 2 plus finishing touches. I'll grab pics as soon as its sunny out... I totally agree that the color match and finish of this product is awesome!
and also the brush was indeed a POS. Greatly recommended! pics coming

I did 2 everywhere but inside the calipers (where the pads are) and then went back for a third just where the paint can really be seen when the wheels are mounted... the amazing thing is that in the end I'm still left with 1/3 of the can!!!
saborr69, you'll love this but be careful not to put this paint elsewhere... and as we said, get some spare brushes! This is very important... Also, note that this paint is the fastest drying I've ever used. You must prepare all your stuff before you begin... this thing is in a hurry to dry.
BTW: Have I mentionned you can't use your car for 24 hours after applying this??? It's kind of annoying but hey, nothings perfect...

yeah the 24 hour this was like...damn I don't know if its really serious even if it dries outside in 20+ celcius under heavy sun? =)
as for the paint I still have over 1/2 of the can!!! I will be ok to do it again next spring since after a whole winter they will probably get rusty or something.... we'll see how it holds up!

In think that the paint has to harden to it's final state before heat transfer is good... that's why they say 24 hours. Actually, I waited 20 hours... nothing fell of them as of now.
I don't think this will have to be redone next spring. I did my Integra's calipers with cheap motor paint and it still held up for about a year... but this paint is so damn thicker and harder! I would venture into saying this will look as good as new next spring... after a little break cleaner therapy maybe...

BTW: I don't think they'll rust, it looks like they were galvanized. If you didn't actually sand them (or sandblasted them), they should be fine for years to come.
So Alex, what's your next mod?

alright thats some great news right there! thanks mate!
hehe my next mod....blah I think I'll keep quiet for a while....
the stock tires are **** but I would feel dumb to shell out $$$ to buy new ones this year. I'll just use them as mush as I can and get sweet summer tires next spring.
the exterior is looking mighty fine right now.... so unless you have any great ideas I don't really know what to mod! =)
the interior...don't feel like f***** it up =)
motor mods would be awesome but thats expensive and well....don't want to void a warranty!
what are you thinking of?
p.s: I still have to reply to your mail.....=) sorry im lazy, should do so today
