Ok, I understand the want to "look" like you have an EVO...but you DON'T...

I'd rather spend my money improving what I have to make it better, then waste my money trying to make it LOOK like what it's not...in the end it might LOOK like the EVO you want, but that's just going to make the people like me laugh even more when I burn you on the track...

i agree ....though, the back bumper does look nicer than our stock one though because it doesn't stick out as much... the rest is just glam...if you want it on your car go for it but don't think it is going to earn respect with people...think of it like the people with ferrari kits on a fiero...yeah it kinda looks ok (let me emphasize the "ok" part..not like the original)...but you would get laughed at when they see how fast it goes....nothing against accolade but I want my car to be able to do laps around an evo if I was going to get a kit that looks like it so I don't give the EVO owners a bad rap by having everyone think I have an evo...

So what if it doesn't perform like an EVO, not everybody is into "illegal" street racing and it is ILLEGAL when last I checked. Some people are just about the "show" and looking good which this kit achieves. I say GO FOR IT if they can afford it.

Someone once post that vendors should make a kit that is not made to look like other cars but unique and looks good. I think that is the best thing I've heard regarding kits. Someone also kidded that vendor should make a kit for the EVO to look like an ES. That is funny as hell. Maybe they should make a kit for the EVO to look like the eclipse....or better yet, a kit to make a SUV to an EVO. I say, be original...but who cares...that is just my opinion.

Ummm, nobody said anything about street racing, he said 'on the track'. Last I checked, that was legal.

I gotta give it to them, that is definitely one of the nicer kits I have seen and I hate the majority of them. Some of those ricey *** kits are just overkill and I am obviously partial to the EVO. Some advice though, if you do buy the kit be prepared to receive s***t.

mmmmmmmmmm I would be all over that hood and spoiler. I dunno about the rest though.
There's no EVO available in Canada right now, even if there was that's double the money a ralliart is worth. It'd be cool and all to own a 400hp street car but I already did that and it just wasn't worth the money for how often that performance was actually useable.

He's got a good point there. Unless you do the track alot (and in some parts of Canada its difficult) its not really worth it. Thats why I'd much rather have a nicely balanced car (decent stereo, handling/power, and overall good looks.

absolutely...balance is key for a car, personally I think the car looks good the way it is...

However I'd love for the EVO to be available in Canada, and have the $40,000 it would probably cost, but I don't, and it isn't...that doesn't mean I want to get a cheaper, very solid car, and make it LOOK like an EVO...

I love the RA....have since I first test drove...and when I get mine in the next month I'll try to allocate some funds to "improving" it, but I'm not going to to waste money on making it look like what it's not...

I don't care if other ppl like it and put it on their cars...go ahead...if you like it then that's all at should matter...and hey, sometimes it even provides me with entertainment to see just how far some pl will go with putting neons, body kits, etc. on cars...

If I owned a Ralliart, I wouldn't want to buy a kit that makes my car look like something somebody else got stock. I would be more interested in making my car look different from just about everything else out there, to me that's the point of dropping a grand or more on getting a kit, fitting it and painting it.

I'd be more interested in an Evo 4,5, or 6 style since there aren't (m)any on U.S. streets - OR dare I say it - something NON-EVO inspired completely!

Body kit people should at least try to design something different rather then crib the designs of what the OEM stylists did. I mean, whether you like their styles or not, that's what C-West, Bomex, Ganador etc. try to do.

yes to each his own...but seriously this subject is talked about on every freakin "EVO BODYKIT for LANCER" post. This post was made by Accolade to show off their new product if you have nothing good to say please restrain yourself from saying so. there are countless threads on this board in regards to these conversions and its all the same points made and no one comes to an agreement because some people like it and some people dont.

anyway your opinions are valuable but the arguements or criticism you guys say have been heard of millions of times and if there is demand for such a kit then it will be made one way or another by someone else.

Much respect to all of you.

Okay, I take it this was directed at me so here goes. For one thing, I in no way discredited Accolade's work. So from a subjective standpoint, I can say they did a good job of copying Mitsubishi's styling studios handwork. Nor did I say anything like, "Any punk Azz Lancer owner who buys this kit is just an Evo wannabe and deserves a beootch slap from my big homie Ragu." Or something to that effect. I as a consumer am looking for a bodykit for a Lancer. But I don't want to make it look just like an Evo I've got sitting right next to it. So, since Accolade is one of the few kit manufacturers producing products for the Lancer, I was merely making a suggestion that they try to produce something a bit more innovative. I have seen the other kit they produce and I think it is a step in the right direction.

Anything coming for the Sportback?
