Evo 8 Conversion for the 2004 Lancer
I like the idea of changing the hood and front bumper, but I wouldnt touch the rest of my car.
On a side note, I think that the kit looks funny in those pics because it's not the same color as the car, so it leaves a contrast, making the hood and skirts look out of place. If they had the color matched it would look better.

I don't get it......getting an EVO Kit doesn't mean you want to make your car look like an EVO??? But that is what the kit is suppose to do. It's a kit to make your car look like another hence EVO 7/8 kit??? That sounds so contradictive.
So does that mean you like the looks of an EVO, but don't want to make your car to look like an EVO. So to do that, you buy a kit that makes it look like an EVO. But you don't want to look like an EVO?!?!?

yeah for real your making your car the way you want for yourself not for anyone else, do what you want to do to your car. Personally the evo8 conversion kit looks better than an evo. Well thats what i think, i am prolly going to get that kit.

Like it or not ...admit it or not....there's nothing really wrong with it...aesthetics or not you are getting a LANCER and adding a EVO kit to it....if it was another car maybe it would be a little different but it is a lancer with almost identical body to the EVO so in reality you are making your car look like an EVO that is what he stated. You may not intentionally try to look like for the sake of looking fast but some people will percieve it that way if you get that kit for your car. You are trying to be an EVO of sorts...maybe not in speed etc ...but in the looks and you can't say I'm really wrong because you are changing the look to be the EVO...there's nothing really wrong with that I guess but don't expect to not get crap from people who have a real evo...it's like people with other cars with a kit to make it look like a different car....they probably get the same crap...atleast if you get a kit like that I hope you SUPE up the engine a little too...Just my 2 cents..and no I do not have an evo incase you are thinking that..I am just being the mediator...
You know, I think Accolade did two good of a job with this kit. If I were in Canada and there was no such thing as a Evo that one could buy, I would be freakin drooling at the mouth over this kit. Unfortunately for me, there is an Evo here in the US and I know several people that have them. If I have every tom, dick, and harry trying to race me becuase they think I have an Evo, I'm gonna be pissed. First off, I'm gonna get destroyed, then I'm gonna be seriously disrespected. Theres this Debadged WRX where I live with an STi wing. I'm always thinking, who are you trying to fool? He could still beat my car, but he'll never earn my respect. I'm sorry but I just don't want to be that guy.

As for me, I would consider getting an accolate kit but I'm going to have to pass on this one.
