Injectors

What are the stock injectors in an 04 Ralliart?
What should I have to run my turbo? <--- and where do i get them?
Is the fuel rail "stock" in our car good enough ?

305cc, judging by the number on the side of them: HDA305E

That depends on how much boost you're planning to run, and how close to 100% duty cycle the injectors run in a stock car. If you put in larger injectors, you'll need some sort of fuel management to compensate when you're not boosting. Unfortunately, in order to boost enough to make a turbo install worth it (IMO), you'll need injectors. I wonder if stock turbo DSM injectors would work..?

Unless you're going after insane power, yes. For the ~250hp you'll maybe have with your turbo, the stock rail is more than adequate. If you're running out of fuel, a more likely culprit would be the fuel pump or injectors.

Stock injectors will be good for 4-5psi. After that you need at least 550cc for 7-8psi this is with the returnless system. With a 225 walbro fuel pump and regulator return system the 550's will hold to 12psi for 11.8-12.4 A/F ratio.

i'm gonna be running 650cc injectors, i plan on running 17psi on high setting and 7psi on low, but 17high rquiers 103 octane, and i already built a larger fuel rail to compensate for the fuel needed, so it all comes down to how much HP you want to put out, i'm gonna be aiming for roughly 400+ hp,but mind you i'm investing lots of $$ into this project. So you'll need a stand alone unit for sure, either way.

no i didn`t install that sort of system, the Ralliart doesn`t have a return fuel system so you can`t use a FMU on the fuel system. So i will have to work around this, but i should be no problem.

I heard that a returnless system sucks for what we are looking to do to my car.
doesnt anybody know where i can get a return feed fuel rail? and those 550 injectors where can I get those? Could I run my car with the 550 injectors without the stock fuel pump or do i need a better fuel pump?

Anyone know if theres a direct replacement upgrade for our fuel pump? I know some guys are using walbro 255's but I want to know if you have to mod it to work or not. Also, does anyone know what injectors RRM uses for their upgrades?

Since you upgraded your fuel pump what else did you have to do when you installed it? Why did you need the more flow? Nitrous? Turbo? Whats our stock fuel pressure? Will any walbro 255 pump work? Are there any injectors we can use as upgrades?

Call your local Mitsu dealership and ask them for the injector part number for the Ralliart (you can find the Evo part number by searching). Wincaps is telling me that the Evo injector and the RA injector are the same, but I'm not positive that's right. Only thing I'm 100% positive on is that the Evo and RA use the same o-rings and insulators.

ok first off........too many questions, the simplest reason why i changed the pump is for more steady flow, second I am going turbo in the Spring of 2006, and as for injectors, i will be purchasing a set of RC injectors, they are one of the best injectors for the ralliart and not too pricey.
