Updated..! My car New pics

After getting tired of the 20hp the basic bolt-on mods gave me and struggling to keep up with stock EVO's and STI's I decided to take matters into my own hands. The result my custom done Turbo system that I fabricated myself. It consists of: Custom log type manifold, Tial 38m waste gate, T3/4E60 Turbo, 3" downpipe, generic RFL BOV, 720cc injectors, Yonaka 900CFM intercooler, stock fuel system pump returnless and Split Second PSC1 piggyback. This resulted in 249whp dynojet power at only 7psi..! The car pulls strong in every gear and I can pull from 1K rpms in 5th gear. The aceleration compared to stock is like the pull or aceleration rate the stocker had in 3rd but in 5th..!

Sorry for the crappy pictures..

To answer the questions of this the original tread.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=164104

The car is running right now at 9psi I had runned it at 11psi with a conservative street tune but for the sake of the stock clutch I turned it down. At 11psi it should be pushing close to 285-300whp but I now the clutch will not hold up. Once I change the clutch I will tune for 10.5psi street use and 13psi for track or race with atleast octane boosters and 93. For now its OK at 9psi.

WorKz.

As for problems I had, yes I had a few. First there's no engine management system for our cars. The options I had where 1. Redo the stock fuel system add returnline and rising rate FPR with the stock ECU. This was very complicated and I wanted to mantain the most stock hardware in the car. 2. Aditional Injector controller with 1 or 2 additional injectors, this was my original plan and it would have worked beautifull up to 15psi. I recomend this setup for anyone that wants a set it and forget it aproach and its very easy to tune. The idea was scratched bc's I didnt want to cut the stock fuel line.(Now it can be done with an adapter plate betwen the rail and fuel line. EVO8 fuel gauge plate). 3. Piggyback (emanage,SAFC or RRM piggy with the flash software). I went for the later one bc's SAFC and the old blue e-manage wont work in our cars. Well it was a pain in the a$$ to learn how to tune with only rpm's and voltage values but once you learn how the car works you can dialed it in OK. With stock fuel press I needed to use masive inj. to compensate for the low press and it took me 6hrs just to dial in the idle and transition response. Once I got that it was all heaven.

Very very nice. Looks like you will want a new clutch and a LSD. I bet that things revs really nice. I would like to see a dyno chart if you could!
