Performance help!
after hearing more discussion about the torque converter in another thread i knew of it as a stall converter. either way def. better off with that for the auto then the LSD if it even fits our cars or what not. The torque converter will let you launch at a higher rpm which will help on the turbo lag and even for N/A put u closer to mivec right off the line. probably would get some good motor mounts to compliment that then though.
You are quiet right there with the torque convertors... you can not just get one shove it into the car and expecting miricles you are going to need to strengthen up all of the suspenssion otherwise things will break motor mounts will be the first thing to go along with shocks.... really if you are considering one of these your car would be putting out some fairly serious power... I would look at other areas first to modify
you are incorrect. My friends car (i dont like to say the car name, but lets just say its made by honda and it starts with a C) has an auto tranny, and he turbo'd it and put in an LSD. I mean im not sure if anyone sells an LSD for the A/T RA (maybe RRM if u give them like Ralliart50 said).
But, i would definately turbo, then at least do some cheap but essential mods like Underdrive pulley kit, RRM low tie bar, new tires, hi-flo cat, exhaust, and progress springs (if yer a cheapy like me
)
You can buy all that stuff for less than an LSD. If you have the $$ do everything i just said including the LSD.
